Catamount roofing was founded in 2017 by Paul Setliff, a roofing industry veteran who believed that the Piedmont Triad deserved better.
He was soon joined by Mike Doolittle and his son, Cole Setliff, who both share his values of customer experience, craftsmanship, and professionalism. Years later they are still just a phone call, text, or email away.
Paul founded Catamount Roofing in 2017 to fill a need people had for not just quality work, but a team that stood behind its work.
Working in his father’s plumbing business growing up, framing houses early in his adult career, and working in roofing sales and marketing prior to forming Catamount Roofing gave Paul a good working knowledge of the roofing business.
A graduate of Western Carolina University, the Catamounts, Paul pursued his dream of working in sports by building marketing programs for some of NASCAR’s and Indy Racing League’s most recognizable brands.
Years of construction and marketing are experiences he has drawn from in building Catamount Roofing. Paul is a proud supporter of the Reidsville Rams, sporting and academic endeavors, among other community programs. He enjoys photography, cooking for friends and family, and watching college sports in his free time.
Paul and Mike met freshman year at Rockingham County Sr High and have been lifelong friends ever since. They have worked together on many projects including Paul’s first marketing idea that featured Mark McGwire’s home run chase on Hank Parker Jr’s NASCAR Busch series car.
Mike worked in the telecommunications field for both wireless and internet companies in technical services, sales, management, and project management for 2 decades. He worked in roofing sales and real estate investing before joining Catamount Roofing as sales manager.
Mike enjoys camping, hiking, riding his Harley Davidson, traveling to new places and spending time on the NC coast and in Colorado with friends and family.
Cole is Paul’s son, and is learning the ropes in the family business.
He graduated from Reidsville Senior High where he played baseball and football for the Rams, including a state championship. He’s only experienced one team loss in his football career from recreation league play through high school.
Cole’s experience working at Lowe’s Hardware has given him the desire to learn the family business alongside his dad, and he hopes to one day take a lead role in Catamount Roofing.
